The Competitors and Markets Authority stated it opened an investigation into the three vogue manufacturers “to scrutinise their ‘inexperienced’ claims,” saying it is involved that garments, footwear and equipment are being marketed as eco-friendly with language that appears too obscure and deceptive.
The CMA has been investigating claims throughout the British vogue sector together with round recycled supplies and ranges of clothes being branded as sustainable. The style sector was focused first as a result of the CMA discovered it to be the most important trigger for concern after preliminary analysis. The CMA stated it “has not reached a view as as to if there have been any breaches of client safety regulation,” in its vogue probe.

Boohoo stated it would to work “collaboratively” with the watchdog.
