BATON ROUGE – No. 5 LSU baseball will try to get back on track before it hits the road for its final weekend series of the season, as the Tigers face McNeese State on Tuesday (6:30 SEC Network+) for their final midweek game of the year.
The Tigers (39-12) dropped their second consecutive weekend series this past weekend, losing the final two games of their three-game set with Mississippi State. LSU fumbled away a 13-4 lead in Sunday’s game and a 4-2 lead in the eighth inning on Saturday. LSU won Game 1 in dominant fashion, 12-1 in seven innings.
McNeese State (32-18) lost twice in its three-game series against Northwestern State.
